Fine weather conditions in recent days? Not exactly. Storm, rain, rain with snow and blowing snow instead. That’s how it was. For one and a half or two days, I couldn’t leave the house. Driving to the supermarket in order to pick up some bread and milk? Impossible. Once the tempest had lost steam, I stepped outside again – and found out that a blackbird had moved into our outdoor-vestibule. At first, I didn’t see the hen. Until I heard a flapping sound. Soon after, I lost track of time. That’s because it get’s dark in the early hours of the afternoon at this season. Until such time as light is back. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Or not at all. Or winter sun lights up the sky and azure blue waves. You never know.
