Baby blue skies and a pink-colored stripe, an invisible paint bucket is leaking, a sheep’s lullaby, that’s what I saw. The art of surrealism in my mind’s eye. Melting clocks, and so on, because the pink-colored stripe was about to dissolve and loose color drops, a delightful image. What I also saw was Kalsoy, the strangely shaped island on the right side of the scenery, the Bond-island henceforward. Faroeislands.fo is “the official gateway to the Faroe Islands“ on the net, and before the new James Bond movie “No Time To Die“ will premier, once more there has been confirmation that scenes have been shot in the Faroes, on Kalsoy, like: “James Bond production crews with visual effects expertise visited the islands on two occasions in 2019, filming on the island of Kalsoy. No actors were involved in the filming.“
Since Kalsoy is famous for two things – the narrow tunnels of the elongated island and the island’s remote lighthouse – we might see some of this in theaters across the globe soon. A helicopter has been involved in the filming, this much is certain. From the perspective shown on my picture, it’s not possible to see the tunnels of Kalsoy. But the lighthouse emerges in dark nights, sending out signals; to our sheep; and to brave seamen, the heroes of the seven seas.
